Ellen Raising Money for Dogs and Cats

Woman Burned In Nail Salon Accident
A woman who was getting her acrylic nail tips removed at a Baltimore salon was seriously burned Saturday when a machine caught fire, fire officials said.
The woman, whose name and age were not yet released by authorities, was burned on about 40 percent of her body and was transported by ambulance to the Johns Hopkins Bayview Burn Center around 6 p.m., said Chief Kevin Cartwright, a spokesman for the Baltimore Fire Department.

Baggage Handler Who Stole from Fashionista Arrested
A St. Patrick's Day theft led to the April Fools' Day arrest of an American Airlines baggage crew chief, according to Philadelphia police. The woman aparently left the item price tags still on the pilfered garments - in true fashionista style.
