Looking stylish and being warm and comfortable is very important on the slopes. There are so many different brands of ski wear to choose from, how can you make sure that you find the right clothes that make you look and feel great for a really enjoyable ski trip. Here is a review of the trends in ladies ski wear for Autumn Winter 2008 -2009.
This season, the trend on the slopes is a mixture of Dr Zhivago and seventies downhill racing with big furry hats and stripey designs in blues and whites. The latest item of ski wear is the all in one suit which using the latest fabric technology for maximum warmth and minimum bulk. Most skiers will wear a technical base layer, followed by a midlayer and topped with a water proof layer to keep them nice and warm. The temperatures will however vary and the layers allow for you to cool down should it get too hot.
Three key ladies ski wear collections for Autumn and winter 2008 and 2009 are:
Black Diamond- The range combines blue with icy white and fur trim for a really high performing and eye catching outfit.
Ski Noir - This ski wear for those who want to look really glam on the slopes. The whole collection is black with fur trim. The Avalanche ski cape is really about as glam as it gets and this is definitely an outfit for someone who wants to turn heads.
E + O - This collection is again in black but a much more minimalist look with a parka jacket and brown fur trim around the hood. It is cool and chic at the same time.
