Breast Implants Out - Stem Cells Create Real Breasts

Cosmetic surgeons are now using stem cells to augment breast size in studies. Using a woman's own fat taken from her body and injected with stem cells. This way it is your own tissue and not a saline or other type of artificial implant. This will no doubt cause quite an explosion of women seeking this type of surgery. This means that in the future - small breasted women may be in the minority.

Hip Hop Clothing - 30 years of development

By David Yuri

Fashion will always be a part of our lives. Not all people are attracted to what is new and hip, and styles vary with every person’s tastes. Even so, every time you walk out the door and stop to look in the mirror if your clothes are suited accordingly, you are trying to make a good fashionable impression.

Fashion is a general term that describes whether something fits with the popular mode of expression at a given time. But, at that specific time there may be a lot of expression modes taking place, and none related to the other. If something is fashionable at that point, that means it fits one of those styles. Let’s talk about the evolution of hip hop clothing.

This is a trend that started with the early hip hop singers like LL Cool J, Run DMC, Kurtis Blow and many others. While there were a lot of things that made a statement about the newly founded culture, like haircuts and jewelry, the most important of them all was hip hop clothing.

Back then, the clothes were mostly black-green-and-red. The 80s hip hop fashion also implied dreadlocks as haircuts and Africa chains as jewelry, which stated that this culture was a part of your life. With the passing of time and the evolution of the music, hip hop clothing also took a turn.

The 1990s brought with them baseball caps and colored clothes for some. Other singers were inspired by prison uniforms, which turned into the no belt fashion. The hip hop clothing trends in America were also divided according to regions. The west favored flannel shirts and sneakers, while the east was often represented by hooded tops and boots. Southern trend introduced gold teeth as fashionable.

The late 1990s also introduced new entries. Mafioso style became popular with alligator skin shoes and hats, with Jay-Z and Notorious B.I.G. as the pioneers, but also shiny suits with platinum jewelry were then a pleasant combination, something usually worn by P. Diddy.

All fashion trends started from a hip hop star. Whatever they decided was fashionable, the hip hop honeys embraced without a second thought. Everyone was free to decide what clothes they would wear to make a statement, but not all clothes were in tone with the current trends.

You may wonder what I mean by hip hop honeys. Well, these are the people that follow this culture anytime, anywhere. They know exactly what the new trends are, the kind of clothes that can be matched and what jewelry to wear with those clothes.

In the early days, hip hop honeys could find clothes to fit their tastes and culture in a relatively small number of brick and mortar stores. However, since the internet has now become more like a necessity than a whim, the stores have taken a virtual form. It takes only a computer, an internet connection and a few clicks to reach a reliable source of hip hop clothing.
Author Resource:- Thirty years ago, hip hop clothing did not play a very important role in the fashion industry. Be that as it may, today the once isolated trend has grown into a world wide culture and hip hop honeys can be found all over the world dressing and acting like their favorite stars.

Tattoo Designs of Zodiac Signs

By Debra Smith

When one speaks of art, they would definitely, apart from every other form of it, speak of body art. And when one speaks of body art, they cannot help but speak of the king of the kind, tattoos. Tattoos have played an important role in the development, and more importantly, maintenance of the culture of various cults, societies, and civilizations throughout many generations. Now, however, while many people still follow the process of getting tattoos imprinted on their skins as a religious or cultural ritual, most of those around actually want to make use of it merely and entirely for fashion. This cannot be called wrong, though; just a different way of spreading the acceptance and appreciation of this form of art in particular, across the world.

Getting a tattoo inked onto your body in this modern world is quite easy, albeit expensive (obviously). This is because of the growing demand and greater number of tattoo artists emerging on various platforms of society. If you too, are interested in getting a tattoo done, though, it is necessary for you to follow the correct steps in the correct fashion.

First of all, you need to decide upon the reason as to why you want to get a tattoo done. This will help you decide on what kind of tattoo design you ought to select. Tattoo designs come in myriads of forms, sizes, colors and shapes, to suit every need and reason. They could be staunchly religious, airily trendy, or emotionally symbolic, like star tattoo designs, for instance. Hence, when you know the reason, you know the kind of tattoo design you would like to exhibit.

Next, you need to look through all the options available to you within your need. You can look for various tattoo designs on the internet, or in the journals of various tattoo artists, and select the one you like. This will not be easy, for there exist too many designs for you to decide from in a jiffy. So, take your time, and see that you make the right choice, so you don’t regret it later.

You also need to know where you want the tattoo to be placed on your body. For this reason, make sure that you have selected a tattoo design of the right shape and size to fit perfectly into the location, for resizing it may lead to disproportionate and imperfect output. If you want a tattoo on your lower back, for example, then you must choose the perfect lower back tattoo design for it. Other than this, the colors that you select for the tattoo are very important, for they are the ones that actually bring out the beauty of a tattoo design. You could have a monochromic tattoo if you like, or could have a colorful and vibrant one, according to your own choice.

Lastly, it is important that you make the right decisions when it comes to getting a tattoo done, from choosing a reputable artist, to deciding on your budget, to selecting just the perfect tattoo design to match your personality and style perfectly. And most importantly, remember to be completely sure about getting a tattoo done in the first place, for in case you regret it, the process of removal will cause a lot of pain – to you and your pocket.

Spring - Summer 2010 Fashion Trends

by Ray C. Subs

Fashion trends are, for the most part, showcased to the world on the runway. However, trend forecasting agencies are responsible for much of the fabric choices, colors, and styles that find their way onto those same runways. The French trend agency, NellyRodi's four scenarios for the spring and summer of 2010 have been released and can be a huge help when deciding which style and color handbags to purchase and pull together to be current, trendy, and stylish for the coming year.

The current economy has a large influence on fashion, with trends reflecting "idealistic thoughts about the future." Colors for the first scenario, entitled "light tech", include acidic tints of green, turquoise, orange, yellow, pink, and veiled gray. Fabric choices for this set were mostly synthetic, such as taffeta, jacquard, coated canvas, and thick linen. "Clean, precise graphics", miniature designs, and textures make this trend perfect for showcasing your handbag. The synthetic fabric options make this trend even sweeter since cleaning your bag will be a breeze. Messenger bags are particularly suited for graphics and designs. Colored bags can make a bland outfit really pop, so investing in some of the sweet and sour colors of this season is an easy way to liven up your wardrobe.

"Ode to nature" was the next scenario trend forecasters put together. Light, gauzy fabrics both layered and alone set a romantic atmosphere. Tulle, crepe, voile, muslin, and silk shantung all flow beautifully with the soft, faded colors of pastels. Taupe and mauve bring an unexpected pop of intensity to the powdery palette. Handbags in mauve and beige will pair perfectly with the talcum shades of spring. The muted colors of nature give way to the warm, vibrant colors of "southern folk" in the next trend scenario. Beige is again featured, along with ochre, clay, reds, plums, and cactus green. Inspired by South American landscapes, cottons, lace, and macramé decorated with ornaments, appliqués, and embroidery echo the colorful chaos of South American culture. Stripes and boldly patterned handbags are a trendy choice for this scenario. Larger bags such as totes and messenger bags will make especially bright statements. Fading slightly from their sun-kissed opulence, muffled tones of beige, khaki, and blue are accented by yellow, purple, sky blue, and red in the final scenario, "popular appeal". A 70s vintage look full of faded cotton, denim, and fleece offer a more relaxed fashion. For a "femme fatale look...chiffons, crepes, and satins" are presented. I can just see the sky blue satin clutch paired with a faded blue. Stunning. This coming year promises to be full of fun and fabulous fashions that are likely easily pulled together with items already in your closet. Adding trendy handbags will stretch your wardrobe and highlight how current and fashionable you are.

Clothes Swapping and Second Hand Clothes - Eco Fashion on a Budget

by: Ceri Heathcote

There has been a huge surge in the purchase of eco fashion lately fueled by publicity and greater consumer awareness of the ethical and environmental impacts of clothing manufacture. But eco fashion is often considered the more expensive alternative to conventional clothing, will it survive during a recession?

The term encompasses a wide range of different clothing types. Generally speaking it is used to describe any type of clothing that is manufactured in way that has a reduced impact on the environment. Eco fashion includes clothing that contain all or some recycled materials, those made from organic cotton and other alternatives like hemp, bamboo or soy.

Most eco fashion is more expensive than conventional clothing as it is more costly to produce. This is often partly because it is produced on a smaller scale and also because cultivation of organic fibres can be more costly. Use of recycled materials can also be a more expensive option than using raw materials.

Whilst the cost of many types of eco fashion have reduced as more efficient production methods are found and the industry grows, there is still a difference in cost between eco and conventional fashion. Many consumers will not worry about the slightly higher price of eco fashion as they have a strong belief in minimizing their impact on the environment.

But for those who want to do their bit for the environment, but cannot or will not pay a premium for green clothes, swapping and buying second hand clothes is the perfect alternative. It is probably the ultimate in eco fashion. As the clothing has already been manufactured these is no environmental impact associated with manufacture of recycled clothes. It also helps to solve the problem of textile waste and disposing of used clothes.

Second hand clothes are much cheaper than their brand new counterparts and are often in excellent condition with many years of wear left. Clothes swapping is a sustainable and free way to refresh and update a wardrobe without resorting to the cheaply manufactured and environmentally damaging 'fast fashion', the quality of the clothes are also likely to be of a higher quality than the very cheap clothes that you can buy in the shops.

Visiting A Hair Salon

By Jene Pedder

Visiting a hair salon can be a very scary and daunting task for some people girls and boys, women and men. It may be because they’ve had a scary experience in the past maybe the hairdresser cut the hair wrong, the hairdresser didn’t do what the client told them too, wrong colour or even an allergic reaction to the bleach or colour.

Whatever your reasons I have 10 steps in which I hope will help you get over your phobia of visiting a hair salon:

1. Only go to reputable salons – a recommendation by a friend or family member is always a good start.

2. If you’re having colour on your hair insist on a skin test – a skin test is when a small amount of bleach or colorant is placed on your skin to see if you have a reaction, a reaction can be itching, blistering and or redness. A skin test is done at least a week before any hair appointment.

3. Tell the hairdresser exactly what style you want – if you have an idea what you want your hair to look like and have a picture take it to the hairdressers with you this will not only put your mind at rest but will help the hairdresser too.

4. Tell the hairdresser what you don’t want – if you don’t like one particular style tell the hairdresser, if you go into a hairdressers and say do anything you feel would look good but you hate one particular style, make sure u tell them.

5. If you want 1 or 2 inches off your hair and that’s all tell them – if you’ve gone to the hairdressers just to have an inch or tow off your hair tell the hairdresser that’s all you want doing. Don’t let the hairdresser sway your decision.

6. Choose a hairdresser you get along with – in a hair salon there’s always more than one stylist so choose one you like and can get on with, it will then be easier for you to talk to them telling them what you specifically want from your hair.

7. If you are really nervous, book with senior stylist – senior stylists in a hair salon are stylists with more experience. They will cost more money but will listen to your every need and make sure your happy with your cut and or colour.

8. Only want your hair done but bombarded with extras available – most hair salons now offer not only hair services but nail treatments, tanning, make-up services etc. if you don’t want any of these offered to you just make it clear in a nice manner you’ve come to have your hair done that’s all thank you.

9. Scared what the colour will look like? – if you want to change your hair colour, the best way is to start with 1 or 2 shades either lighter or darker of your normal hair colour. Don’t go from blonde to dark brown or dark brown to bright blonde, you need to do it gradually.

10. Go for a consultation before you book – if you are still unsure, why not book a consultation with the hairdresser of your choice and tell them exactly how you feel, if you’re scared explain why. They will then give you advice on what styles and colours would suit you, then you can give it a think before your actual appointment.

Everyone Should Have Their Own Madame Tussauds Wax Figure

Once again the folks at Madame Tussauds have out done themselves again. They have already finished an exact replica wax figure of President-Elect Barack Obama. I don't know about you - but I would love to have my very own wax image of me. That way I could place outfits on it to see if they look good on me.

I say this because friends will tell you what you want to hear. They won't tell you that you look like a complete idiot in that too tight, too-young-for-you outfit. Or that your toes look awful in those fancy new pumps. So, if I ever get crazy rich - I'm getting me one made. It takes about four months to make a wax figure, so I would probably have to wait for a year or more for delivery. The same way that people wait now for a new Hermes handbag or Bentley. Also, it would be nice to show people how hot I used to look fifty pounds ago in the future.

Woman Killed by Her Unopened Purchases

Very sad story. A woman was killed at home after a mountain of suitcases buried her alive. Aparently, she was a shopaholic and hoarder.

Once again I have to post one of those seen on tv ads. I can not count the times that I could have used this product back in my teen years. Ripped pants, torn knees were my specialty. Mighty Mendit is a bonding agent that works on fabric, so you can fix a hem or a torn pocket quickly for example. You can even fix torn sofa pillows, etc. So, if you have something torn - this product will mighty mend it fast.
